Zoning Inspector Position Available

Bethlehem Township Board of Trustees is in need of filling the position of Zoning Inspector.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

1)     Issuing permits.

2)     Deposit permits or turn the funds into the Township Fiscal Officer to be deposited.

3)     Attending the Commission Board meetings and the Board of Appeals meetings when possible.

4)     Attending the Township Board meetings and give a report when possible.

5)     Following through with Stark County Region Planning requests.

6)     Handle zoning violations and complaints.

7)     Turn in monthly permit report.

8)     Turn in monthly expense reports, which includes mileage reimbursement, to the Township Fiscal Officer.

9)     Monthly salary is to be determined.

Bethlehem Township's Electric Aggregation

To all residents who are on the electric aggregation

Our electric aggregation ends on May 5, 2026.  The Township Board of Trustees have announced that due to high market prices, the electric aggregation for a supplier is temporarily put on hold for both AEP and Ohio Edison.  Program members will return to their local utility, AEP or Ohio Edison.  This will not disrupt your electric service.  participants in the program will be charged the utilities price to compare for June 2026.  

Supplier options are available from your local utility or from a supplier list on the PUCO Apples to Apples at:  https://www.energychoice.ohio.gov/ApplestoApples.aspx.  Please be aware whether the supplier's program has a fixed or flexible rate, the term length, is there a fee for early termination and are there an additional fees.  Hopefully the electric aggregation program delay will be minimal.
