Zoning Commission Meeting

The Bethlehem Township Zoning Commission Board will meet on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Township Hall located at 8600 Blough Ave SW Navarre, OH  44662.  Amendments to the Zoning Resolution to be accepted/rejected are:  1)  To allow commercial vehicles, commercial construction equipment or semi-tractor or trailers in residential areas will be allowed only if used by an occupant of the dwelling as transportation to and from work.  2)  Increase accessory building height from 20 feet to 25 feet.   3)  Increase signage area for a home occupation from 3 square feet to 16 square feet.  The public is invited to express agreement/opposition to any of these amendments.

Hensel St Culvert Replacements and Paving

Hensel St culvert replacements and paving is scheduled to tentatively begin on July 15, 2026. This road may be closed to thru traffic during the work. The project is funded by the OPWC (Ohio Public Works Commission) grant for 2026.

Bethlehem Township's Electric Aggregation

To all residents who are on the electric aggregation

Our electric aggregation ends on May 5, 2026.  The Township Board of Trustees have announced that due to high market prices, the electric aggregation for a supplier is temporarily put on hold for both AEP and Ohio Edison.  Program members will return to their local utility, AEP or Ohio Edison.  This will not disrupt your electric service.  participants in the program will be charged the utilities price to compare for June 2026.  

Supplier options are available from your local utility or from a supplier list on the PUCO Apples to Apples at:  https://www.energychoice.ohio.gov/ApplestoApples.aspx.  Please be aware whether the supplier's program has a fixed or flexible rate, the term length, is there a fee for early termination and are there an additional fees.  Hopefully the electric aggregation program delay will be minimal.
